Upon creating a new membership
for this site it will be assigned a new membership level. Each of the
users of this site will be categorized depending on their level
of activity and project enrolment.
The membership levels of this site
are described below:
Membership Levels:
Guest
- Guests are members that are not
currently participating in any
projects and they have not
contributed to any individual project or the site itself. Guests
are equivalent to guest accounts however this status is not
permanent.
Contributor
- Contributors are members that actively
contribute to the site and or projects.
Contributors have participate din
posting comments, files or news
items. If a contributor does not
contribute a news item, comment or
file post the member will become a guest member.
Project Member
-
Project members are members that are
currently active on one or more
projects. Project members cannot have their membership level changed
unless they have chosen to quit working on their projects or they
are kicked from their last remaining
project. In which case the team
member will become a contributor
upon which contributor rules will
apply.
Project Moderator
- Project moderators have all of the
same abilities as the team leader
however they do not have the ability
to close the project in which they
moderate. Project leaders have the ability to add or remove any of the
team members.
Project Leader
- Project leaders are the original
creators of their projects. The only
way for a team leader to have their
membership level changed is for them
to close their own project or assign
the team leader position to another
team member.
Administrator
- Administrators have the
ability to edit or delete any
existing content in the site however
they do not have the ability to delete members or projects.
